the surrounding star streak is a 4 second shutter on iso800, About as good as I can go as anything beyond iso1600 sucks.
I am aiming out a window, on the a/c power source.

with my crooked uncle gone now, back then it was still a privilege to have color film... the last of the 1980s.

I still wonder what would have remained in my priceless shots, surrounded by swells 3 times bigger than the boat as if to be in a valley of hell... only it was the maine ocean.
40 something feet with the back half right out of the water sometimes, spinning the prop on an already loud diesel only got louder. the shudder of it smashing back down into a work load shaking the boat like a caterpillar walking the ground..

The last I saw him, his lower legs were blistered, dialysis was not keeping up. look in this photo and wonder where need deep in maneater would come from...

A gathering at the training center....I took some photos and put one of them in the newsletter, captioned, "A lot of car guys would just dip this in clear coat and drive it."

The guy told me afterward he's gotten lots of calls from guys wanting to buy the car from him. He said the car's status is NFS.
