appearance is important. My dad is in another realm, like a lucky thread that never dies...but local to maine.
my dad with 40 years runs on abuse. 2016 pete with a big motor, in the greatest fuel mileage ever seen.
He does not know what he does, like a hero on military orders does not know either.
At this age, and being written.. one would think he got free meals and rooms, a salute perhaps...
but no.
I keep my welder at his place, carry any tools.. usually for him. I don't tell him though.
I got the big camera just for the trucking at first...
A small man declares legend, a big man stays silent to witness..
who is a big enough man to look eye to eye.
I know he has not met one.Last edited by Barry Donovan; May 7, 2016, 06:12 PM.Previously boxer3main

I think this makes us all think about the cool cars we passed up long ago. The one I kick myself over was a '72 gold GTO sitting on the local Chrysler/Plymouth used car lot in the summer of '81. 400 auto and cold A/C, not a show car but a very nice driver. They were asking $1,700 but I'm sure $1,500 cash would have driven it away.Originally posted by tedly View PostThat's about what I paid for the Charger back in 93.
