Now you're getting to my soft-spot....carts! I love those old Harleys. I'm in the middle of building a Yamaha right now for my kids to ride on the trails.
My way of joking is to tell the truth. It's the funniest joke in the world.
See a 1958 electric H-D golf cart here:

Seth, very cool. Is he gonna fix it up or just use it on the farm ?
David, that '58 is cherry, and still with the original charger !!
.. I'll have to put a pic up of my old Club Car.
I should get one of those for Mom. She wants a golf cart to run around her neighborhood. The Harley brand will get the guys interested and she might get a date.
(How do I come up with these ideas?)

TomOverdrive is overrated
I really do need to get to work on my Cushman truckster, it's from about 1960, handlebar steering, cute bed, 8 hp husky engine and 3 speed trans.
Squirrel,
When I worked at the fleet garage in college we had the Cushman truck with the cab and everything. It was also a 3 speed (not a trike though) that two guys could cram into if necessary. We used to use it to wing around campus in. The thing was a blast. It was a go kart with a truck bed on it.
Sometimes when one of the cars we serviced for the school would have a flat or broke down for whatever reason, we'd zing out to the scene in that thing. People were usually pissed when their cars broke....but died laughing when the keystone kops showed up in that to help them.
**edit**
Here's what we had.
