Like tracks, do ya Seth? Here's a Cletrac we sold. Its not so much of a show piece. If I remember right, it only brought around $2k. The engine was free, and it was nearly 100% complete. Sorry the pic is so fuzzy.

      The Cletrac is GOOD.

2K is still no chump change, especially for a non running piece.

That would run the tracks off, for sure.

Seth....check this out. Back in the late 1980's the world of monster trucks went track crazy. Lots of tracked monster trucks showed up across the country. This one was out of VA and sported a blown 454 making 1000hp.

Their popularity faded and as you know, rubber tire trucks are the order of the day now. This thing is bitchin though!

this thread makes me think I should spend some time "restoring" my early 50's towmotor - it has a 4 cyl flathead gasoline engine with an updraft carb that has a cracked flange. Comes in real handy sometimes - especially when it's time to lift a pallet of shingles onto the roof!

probably the best $100 I've spent.

Here's what you missed at Rough & Tumble

This is an engine that was the forerunner of the New Holland hit & miss. It was built in 1898, therfore it has run in three centuries. The owner bought it from the original owner many years ago for $45. It is the first six hp engine of its kind; the serial # is 6000. It was sold on auction Thursday to a fella from California for $85,000.

                          Sweet Jeep!

How about these Fords with flathead conversions. There was a conversion made back in the day when these were new to do this swap.

Brian, I saw this and thought of you. This is the treatment your Worthington should get:

My wife's uncle in South Dakota has the whole line of 1957 John Deer tractors. They are all restored except for the Crawler, which he's in the process of restoring right now. I'll see if I can dig up some pics.

                                A WORTHY! HA!

So sorry we missed it but the prego wife was not feeling up to a roadie. Looks like a freaking blast and something NOT to be missed next year.

Man that Worthington really looks like a hot rod...I need to get cracking on mine now! I may try to find that guy and see where he got the rear tires and I just had one of mine blow out yesterday.

I know a company named Funk made the V8 conversions for the Ford N series tractors that you showed. I am sure there were others too, but a "real" funk conversion tractor is worth major bucks.

85K for the hit and miss is awesome.....a three century motor, cooler than words.

Thanks for the photos man, I'll show my son and get him amped up for next year.
