Even though it's got a BMW V-12 I doubt it's capable of one. Besides, there is no switch to turn off the traction control. And, it weighs close to four tons. So far, it's getting a wonderful 6.8 mpg. Wow.
It's kind of like a giant,overgrown Checker(Cab..).........for yuppies :o ;D! So,when you get a flat,do you have a spare,or,do you use the Smart-Car in the Trunk :o ;D :D? ~OO6.
Compared to the Imp, that thing looks like the wall they used to crash-test those things off of. And to think, instead of having one of those I could have something nice...
Like a friggin' house. ;D
Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!
"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."
I really don't know the exact weight of it, but you sure feel it. Even the doors are really heavy. It's not under powered at all with it's 600 + hp V-12 built by BMW. The 5000 pound '08 Towncar feels really nimble after driving it. It belongs to the Hotel Bel Air. They have a several Audi's and this thing which certain hotel guests can use. They sent it to pick-up Mr and Mrs. Zagat of the Zagat's guides. I guess they are hoping for a good write up in their books.
