Hated that I was relying on airbags to control sway and always wanted a swaybar. Search for custom bars for such a tiny width was $$$. Small victory for some, huge for me...picknpull search one day netted a late model BMW that is the ticket for $26.

I totally lucked out on this $26 BMW swaybar find.
The little links are the original BMW that were mounted on the other side of the bar end and bolt onto the control arm in the hole provided by Heights...weird. Im making my own links with heims but just wanted to see how it all lined up.

$hithouse lucky this bar is bent like it is!

Obviously in the last pic you can see the BMW bushing was further to the end. Im thinkin the light weight car wont have much effect on the twist but its still better than none.

How on God's green earth did you ever convince BMW to engineer that swaybar to your needs........and in the past to boot?

I want to borrow your Time Machine. Please. I'll bring it right back, be like it never left!

Shoot, I'll bring it back before I borrow it.

Some say that German engineers over-engineer everything, I say they are forward thinking. After all, I'm sure in one of the project meetings at BMW someone said "but can this sway-bar fit on a VW bug that's powered by a SBC?" and the engineer said "on it."
