Any progress pics of the '57 V-6 project?
I couldn't just let this thread fade away, some awesome fab work there!

Yeah, I didn't get anywhere near my goal this year but I made some progress. I'll try to get updated pics up next week.![]()
Needed a new heater channel installed...$60 dollar item, stuffs cheap for bugs. Gonna have it flipped and put back on the frame this weekend and gonna start on the radiator support.

I need a ragtop clip. I finally convinced my Mom to hand over her bug that she's owned since I was 10... the only downsides to the car are the utter lack of power (fairly fresh 1600 single port), and the disturbing lack of a giant hole in the roof.
Wow, I missed this thread too. Great buildup with the V6. How about a turbo Buick instead? Or maybe an SHO engine.
cheers

Thanks for the update photos. I was just checking out the post on your COE project, another awesome piece of automotive creativity! However,I am going to have to repeat David?s question from the COE post, where do you find the time? On second thought I don't want to know. The answer might make me throw my hands up in disgust and take up basket weaving. Only kidding my friend, the fine examples of craftsmanship you and the other board members turn out only gives me proof that if I hang in there and keep turning the wrenches I'll reach my goal some day. Thanks again for taking the time to share your projects with us.
I tell ya man, some purist is is going to go face down on a plate of Bratwurst over whacha doin to that oval.....
Rollin, rollin, rollin......
(Gotta get some heat in my shop before next winter)
Whether you can or can't, you are usually right.
Thanks cuda68...your right though. These guyz keep me motivated as well.
