    SAFTEY STUFF

I have had no tech problems at my local track but have some concerns for drag week. The car should
run 12-13 seconds. It has a overflow tank a drive shaft loop will be added. Theses are what I am concered about the car only has lap belts and has a trunk mount battery with out rear mount on/off switch.

Stock lap belts should be fine, but you'll need a battery cutoff. Also, batt in trunks means it either needs a rear firewall or the batt needs to be in a vented enclosure. And don't forget it has to be secured to the frame.

Batteries in trunks are not worth the trouble, IMO.

Thanks you saved me some headach at the track, think I may just move the battery back if I can find the tray

Not to mention the weight (additional cable and terminals) and voltage loss from the batery movement. It added 30+ lbs to my Vette

Hope to see you again. We'll be there with some junky Malibu.

Bringing my Corvette, trying to break the breakage streak I've had. 2 years ago lost the crank pulley mid track on the third day. Last year the differential decided to re-machine its gear teeth on the drive to Cordova. Stephanie is no more..............
