Are bumper guards uncool?

Had my car for several years now and the entire time I have had the bumper guards mounted.


But recently after reinstalling the radiator support out, I decided to leave them and the license plate bracket off. At first I thought they were cool because it was an option for the car. But now I think it made it look a little grandma-ish.

I don't know about cool or not, but it looks a lot cleaner with them off. And besides, they repop those grilles....just in case anything happens with them off...

I was just thinking yesterday that I should pull the guards off the front of the 87 suburban we recently got. They do make it look like the grandpa's truck that it was.

I vote no brackets and plate....cleans up the nose nicely

As bumper guards go, they don't look bad. But it definately looks better without.

I'll go against the grain and say I like it better with them on.

My Duster is a '73 and the bumper guards on it are HUGE...big enough to cause a giant bruise every time I run into them, which is practically daily. I keep 'em on mostly out of spite, cause people hate them with a passion. haha!

With or without them your car is awesome, I would suggest flipping a coin heads or tails..........................lol

Didn't even need to see the pics. Bumper guards are NOT cool.
