    nim wheel repair

    Where is the best place to get an aluminum wheel straightened out?I have one TTII that took a pothole a little too seriously ad managed to get scrapped in the process. Who do you guys recommend?

    no idea where you're at, but around here we have a place in Weymouth,ma. have to get back to you with a name. unless Brian beats me to it.
    check your y/pages, or local body shop.

      If you have to ship it you might as well get a new one . Is just google wheel repair in the ( fill in blank ) area and so what comes up.

        Scrapped, or scraped? By TTII do you mean the Torque-Thrust wheel with the cast center and rolled sheet rim?

        The formed aluminum rims can be pounded back out with a block of wood (1x3 with the end rounded) and a sledge hammer if bent, and the edge filed or sanded flat and re-polished at home (or built up by welding first if needed). Been there-done that. Otherwise as N.E.R.F. says, asking at a body shop may be the quickest way to get to someone who can fix it, they have to deal with that sometimes. If they say to just replace it, ask somewhere else...

          There is a place here in Tucson that does great work and cheap too....

            Hey Joe, what's the name of the place you are talking about? It's one of the later one piece all aluminum Torque Thrust IIs. I plan on using it as a spare, but I still want it to look nice.
