I just got told that I'm going to be seeing ADM. Mike Mullen (yes, the Chariman of the Joint Cheifs of Staff) in about 20 minutes.

Pray for me, I don't know who I pissed off this time.

(In the last three weeks, I've seen a one-star, a two star...now a four-star....hmmm...)

The Chairman would never get involved in any sort of disciplinary action at Remy's level. It can only be good. And if the senior ranking military officer in the entire DoD wants to see you, it is for something VERY special.

Vette-Boy has been smacked repeatedly upside the head for screwing with me, though I did, indeed, get to personally meet and talk with Adm. Mullen. It was part of what is called a "sensing session" (read: a bunch of soldiers bitching about pay) but somehow my name got brought up as a person of interest due to my particular job in the Army (avation tech) and my experience with the Fort Lewis barracks. Anyways, he took down my emails for further discussions and gave me one of his coins...man, that sucker is HEAVY!

Funny somebody mentioned "drive the boat"...in '99 I was part of NJROTC at my high school in WA, and we got to go to Bremerton NS and take a quick ride out in a sub...yes, they did let me drive it a little..
