They look great , must be nice to live in sunny So-Cal when you have an outdoor fab shop . You must have great neibours to leave your spare body parts outside .

That is my neighbors bedroom window in the shot. Tenants in my building are around all day, so no one is crazy enough to try to steal something. Until Sunday, there was a covered motorcycle blocking the pile.

i had a nice 70 caprice. i follow what you do i like it. i also had a 68 impala 63000 miles on it sold both of them. the good part though is i have every year of them in my cabinet and the 65 is so nice. it could give you bad ideas. when i can,t work on the real ones i build the fake ones and i ain,t no hack.

The Impala made happy, happy noises (and LOUD!!!) today for the first time in months. It was running uncorked and my neighbors were not happy.

I got up and drove the Impala uncorked to the exhaust shop this morning. I have to say I enjoyed roaring around in morning traffic. I blew by this Prius driver causing her to spill her latte and drop her cell phone. She shouldnt have texting while driving anyways. haha.

I took the car to Kartech in West LA where Eddie connected the exhaust pipes to the new headers. They did the exhaust on both this car and the Caprice. He only charged me $41.00, what I had in my pocket in cash.


You east coasters may not like this shot. No undercoating and no rust. The new headers are wider than the old Hedmans. Eddie cut the H pipe in half and widened it to make everything to line up.
