I thought you hate waiting for parts! Welcome to my world!
The problem is that I ordered newly designed lower A arms that aren't in stock yet. Ugh. I hate not getting a definite delivery date, even if it's week long window. I may even drive down to Fullerton to get them.
So who's LCA are you going with? I don't have impatience waiting for parts. Aint go no extra money right now, everything is on hold. To rub salt in the wound, looks like I have to get new head gaskets on my Subie to pass inspection. Got a huge oil leak but found some one who's a Subie mechanic that moonlights at home. I just don't have the time to do it. The wife needs the car Monday and this guy will do it over the weekend very reasonably.

Got the front shocks. Koni adjustables. $125 each. They say they don't make rears for Impalas. Yes they do. I ordered Chevelle rear shocks from them. I have a full set of Edelbrock IAS shocks for a 67 Chevelle on the Caprice.
To keep from going nuts from waiting for ordered parts, I decided to distract myself by installing my recently acquired Scat Procar seats. So long crappy 89 Cavalier seats. You can see boxes to some of the stuff they sent as torture. I can't install this stuff without the rest. Rat bastards.
Nice. I decided to go with a Mercedes Interior on my 66. Had a utility trailer been trying to sell on C.L. with no takers and the guy with Mercedes thought it was a good trade. Wish it was warmer out. I was going to get interior today, but woke up to snow everywhere.
Nice work Scott - I hear ya about waiting for parts. Summit guy told me the arp head bolt washers were cheaper than edelbrock - what he didn't realize was that the ARP's are sold one head at a time! argh.
Thanks to Mike Haddad Haddad Motorsports for helping me get a baseline HP/TQ number on the car today. 325 hp @ 5500 rpm/350 tq @4200 rpm at the wheels on his DynoPac chassis dyno. The old girl's worn out 383 still has a couple ponies under it's hood.

Thanks, I'll keep that in consideration. I want to namely get to a point I'm not going to modify crucial things on the engine that effect power before I take it to a dyno. Such as deciding if I want to advance the cam or not and to get the sequential injection all wired up. Hopefully be done after that
