Makes me wonder how I survived the 60s-90s...without any cupholders at all....

          Re: Rebel(Dryver)'s Machines

I've been knocking around the idea of black steelies and dog dish hubcaps replacing the Cragars on the Impala. I was wondering what you guys think about the idea?

If anyone has any talent with Photoshop; maybe you can help me with what the car may look like. Here's a profile shot of the car to help.

That looks good, Malc. For those who came into this thread late; Malc did some custom rendering of the Impala that's posted sometime back.

Like I said, I'm on the fence. I've had these wheels since March 97. I've been thinking of doing something else.

Check out http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/wheel_visualizer.asp I don't see any steel wheels, but still a lot of fun to play with.

I like the idea. I don't think I would ever put on the hub caps.

I'm of the view they would look great. Of course, on that car just about anything would look good...my high opinion of the 65 Impala is documented elsewhere on this site.

                          Go for it.

I like the wheels you're running - but then, I have no taste.

I'm partial to the steelies and hubcaps... but I have it that way on my car because I'm cheap (they came with the purchase price).

Due to habit originating from GM, I prefer my cars to be going "left", so I had swapped the pic and forgot the steering wheel detail.
We got left drive cars here in Spain not right.

Next pic is all yours. :o ;D
