You have another car, have you checked the volt meter on that car as a baseline semi-calibration check?

I would check the voltage when the car is running at the back of the alternator and again at the battery to see what the operating voltage difference is. How is your alternator wired in? Is it an internally regulated one wire one?
    Escaped on a technicality.

I will test the other car. This car has the internal regulator with the regulator wire being used.

It turns on when I open the trunk. If it was on all the time the battery would die in a week of sitting.

These. They are a compromise, but they will do for now.

Shut up, Mr. Wiesenheimer. They weren't my first choice, but considering my time and expense crunch right now, it's what I got. At least they aren't the polished ones. And oh yeah. Be quiet.

They are Nt555 Extremes. Not the R's. They have a 300 treadwear. Picked them up today. Did some test fitting a bit. I may have to do some bashing and cutting in the back.

look carefully at my Corvette - you expected anything else?

that said, gold chains go really well with those wheels

Lol. You know the grief you get about it is only because we feel we know you (and your car) well enough to mess with you. It's like teasing your brother.

I really like the price on those wheels.

Scott, you know you just started a visious cycle with those 18 inchers? You need some 13" brake rotors now.

I won't give you shit about the wheels since I'm probably not too far behind you. My Mustang still has drums in front.I just bought a set of take off '12 13" Mustang GT rotors and calipers with 5 miles on them from Rousch racing. $50 for the rotors and $75 for the calipers. That's a pair not each! The only wheels in my budget are used 04 Mustang GT or MACH1.
