I have come across a great deal on a set of Hooker super comp headers and I am not completely sure they will fit my application. Here goes. They are for a small block Camaro 1967-1969. I have a 67 Firebird with a Chevy 400. Will they fit?

Re: Application for GM F body junkies
Well, at least they'll fit as "good" as they would in a Camaro. LOL Which ain't usually all that good.Originally posted by jays67yes firebird and camaro are the same sub frame so with a sbc in it they will fitComment

I was going to make some kind of wise crack about putting a proper Pontiac back in there to salve all of your problems, but headers on a Pontiac (especially Hookers) are waaay worse than headers on a Chev.

Yeah, I learned (and probably invented) some new swear words in high school helping a friend get a set of Black Jack headers on his 428.Originally posted by goat racerI was going to make some kind of wise crack about putting a proper Pontiac back in there to salve all of your problems, but headers on a Pontiac (especially Hookers) are waaay worse than headers on a Chev.
Ever since, someone asking me for help putting headers on a Pontiac gets the same reaction as they would if they asked for help moving or putting a new roof on a house. ;DComment

That's why you tell your friends that you are having a BBQ, then after they show up mention the BBQ is after the installation ;DOriginally posted by Eric68Yeah, I learned (and probably invented) some new swear words in high school helping a friend get a set of Black Jack headers on his 428.Originally posted by goat racerI was going to make some kind of wise crack about putting a proper Pontiac back in there to salve all of your problems, but headers on a Pontiac (especially Hookers) are waaay worse than headers on a Chev.

I'd rather attend an Amway meeting . . . or invite a Kirby salesman into my house.Originally posted by TheSilverBuickThat's why you tell your friends that you are having a BBQ, then after they show up mention the BBQ is after the installation ;DOriginally posted by Eric68Yeah, I learned (and probably invented) some new swear words in high school helping a friend get a set of Black Jack headers on his 428.Originally posted by goat racerI was going to make some kind of wise crack about putting a proper Pontiac back in there to salve all of your problems, but headers on a Pontiac (especially Hookers) are waaay worse than headers on a Chev.

Re: Application for GM F body junkies
Good point on the engine being in the right place. I am not totally sure it is. The current headers ( brand unknown) have been massaged quite a bit to clear the steering gear and other stuff.Comment

You have to buy the Super Comp's, they're the one's that fit.Originally posted by squirrelyeah, using the words Hooker and fit in the same sentence is asking for trouble!
It's just the regular Comp one's that suck.
