NOt surprising, auto parts are an internet commodity these days.
JC W pissed me of years ago, I wanted to order a part, and they wouldn't take my order unless I told them the catalog number or something.
I had J.C. Whitney totally drop the ball on some Addco sway bars I ordered for the Dart a while ago. They kept telling me different things about whether it had or hadn't shipped, I ordered a front sway bar elsewhere because I was sick of waiting, told them to cancel the front sway bar order, they canceled the rear sway bar instead...
I've found USPS pretty good. I've used basic ground delivery and the packages got there as there in 2-3 days, the same as their express. Now let's see if my caster/camber gauge comes next Wednesday. I ordered it this afternoon from Go Racing, they said 7 days.
I live in Canada and you would think that it's on the other side of the planet in relation to the US . The Eastwood Company only ships to Canada on Fridays , so you place an order on Saturday and it dose'nt move for 6 days . I have ordered plenty of times from them and will continue too , I just find this strange . Another thing that annoys me are companies that charge a handling fee $9-$15 , I work in a warehouse and ship all day long . Handling = taking a box out of the warehouse putting a UPS sticker on it and putting it on the truck . I can ship a box across the country via UPS , FEDEX , or whoever in 5 days , why does it take a week and a half to get parts to me ? . Thanks for letting me vent
I deal MAINLY with Summit... if I order before 9am I will have it the next day...
they are great on returns... I tend to get straight answers when and if the delivery
will be more than the 1 day.... but hell I've spent enough money there.... I dont
think I want to add up what I've spent with them but its WELL over 50K
