I had a engine the guy left exhaust seals off because he said "you didnt need them" it smoked some on acceleration not much on deceleration
freshened it up put all new seals in, no more smoke. it didnt foul the plugs befor or after, the valve guides were pretty new

      it happened to me too.

the weirdness of keeping a master cylinder half full. Some cars go nuts over that stuff.

left side smoke, at least you can localize the error.
you mentioned it tbi 91. was it a lopsided y-pipe gone to headers? all kinds of simple things can trigger uneven wear.

Ok I'm going to say it, if you have brake fluid leaking into your brake booster and being sucked into your motor you have more of a problem than a leaky master cylinder........ Your Brake Booster is bad to!!!!!!.......

but if you take the oil out of the mufflers, how will the muffler bearings get lubed? betcha didn't think of that!!!! Maybe he needs to run some sand in the intake to ruff'n up the cylinder walls (to get better ring sealing)
Doing it all wrong since 1966

Lots of Buick engines don't even come with exhaust valve guide seals. The assumption is there is more pressure in the port than in the valve cover. He'd have to have a heck of a scavenging exhaust setup to pull oil that way.
            Escaped on a technicality.
