I hadn't thought about that - I was thinking the old Oldsmobile Rocket Fuel setup meth injection / hobbes switch, but e85 under boost is a helluva thought. I had thought about that for DW ( high compression and running e85 all the time) but realized since I don't have a clue on the route, I won't know where any stations are.

slight derail, but I'll toss it out here anyway. Assuming the built-in ECM worked adequately with the engine NA, can you drive just the secondary set of injectors with a Mega Squirt using the same sensors or would it make the signal from them get screwed up? I figure you could use the MS for the whole thing, except the application I'm thinking about controls the trans (e40d)

Sure, you can use the megasquirt to run a set of secondary injectors. But you won't want to share the two temp sensors (coolant, air temp) as it will throw off the readings in the factory computer. It's too easy just to run a second CLT and IAT anyhow, since they're cheap. You CAN share the TPS signal, and the MAP is just a vacuum line you run into the MS's onboard MAP sensor.

good news on the TPS - thanks! Should really simplify things... much to think about.

You can if using enough injectors run the All E-85 at the track and switch back to gas for the road. We did it on Docs last year and I will this year just bring a jug of E-85 with you
