great ride Dave... Like the man said though... drive it like a RENTAL!!! Gm put a warranty on it, so take advantage of it and have FUN!! It might be a little difficult for the wife to take notes while her fingers are locked to the O Shoot Handle!!

Having a ZL1 and taking a non-AC car on Power Tour through the deep south in June? Now that's dedication!

Dave is a little tweaked! That's why he fits right in with us.

Ok, I'm the fool that started the "bad" thread full of doomsday crap on the Volt...
Hopefully you have more miles and impressions you would be willing to share?

I am so glad I read this... But really! I ignored my "Fox news" radar and posted that bad piece..

Sounds like something I might get a kick out of if I commuted..

What is the world comming to if you need to read 3 manuals to drive a car?
When we go on the next Power Tour we will most likely take the 62 Rambler station wagon again.
So far we have not figured out how to get the interior lights to come on when we open a door. LOL

agreed!.....spent part of the other day reading one (or part of it).......switches, lights, settings, program this, talk to the radio ?, etc., etc.....that's why I like my old Camaro and Chevelle......get in, turn the key, sweat like a mule (no a/c; do mules sweat?), shift the manual trans ten thousand times a day, pull on the steering wheel like you were pulling a mule (manual steering; the same sweaty mule?); open the hood and actually see the ground....rexx!

Rexx, there is something about driving the vintage cars on the Power Tour. I know what you mean.

For sure. That's why I don't use my AC and leave the windows open.
