      LOL, not hard.

Basically looking close to home, the cost to ship one is too high. And most of them haven't been mechanically sound enough to hop an airplane and try and drive it back. Perhaps that's because I'm too cheap to buy a creampuff!!

That's too bad. But your gain!

For a while, it looked like Cali was going to roll back the smog exemption from '74 to (I think) '81. IF that had happened I'd really be looking hard.

There's a reason I bought that '88 Turbo Coupe, they are a fun car and being a Fox chassis makes it all the better........Even after all these years the bushings in the rear suspension still look great and are something I probably won't be replacing...... I did run into a bit of a problem with the shocks and struts, Turbo Coupe have electronic adjustable shocks and I don't think anyone makes them anymore, so you have to delete the ride control system and go to conventional shocks, problem is the front struts for the V8 and V6 cars are not the same for the Turbo Coupe, which was causing a problem until yesterday for me in finding front struts...... I say yesterday because I was again searching for front struts for that car when I came across a PDF file from KYB that had Appendixes, which one of them was about cars with electronic controlled shocks/struts, the '87-'88 Turbo Coupe's were one of the cars listed and it gave the part numbers of the struts/shocks that you need to use, which are a different part number from the V8 and V6 cars, so problem solved.......

I don't know if this carries over to the turbo Mustangs or not but if the car has electronic ride control it might be something that needs to be looked at.......

No electronic ride control on the SVOs, although they had specific Koni shocks different from all the other fox body Mustangs.

'specially when you look at Jeff's location. Shipping from the moon? ouch.
