    I'd put an old school 5.0L Ford motor in anything, they are badass motors. (and I'm a Chevy guy)

    . Sounds like the old Chevy didn't't swallow it very well. Should went with the 409.

    You wanna hear bitching, just put anthing other than a Chrysler motor in a 60s-70s Mopar. Or, just pull into a Chrysler show using a Chevy pickup.

    That is one reason I drive Mopars....we have plenty of Mopar engines to go around and the packaging is so much better looking!!!...lol...just sayin!

    It depends...
    I put a ford straight six in my 52 Willys pickup truck when the stock 4 banger stopped working. It was a give-away motor, and it worked great except for the lack of passenger floor boards ( and firewall) when we "got er done" to allow the falcon header to "fit". Made a great cab heater for cold Santa Cruz nights. Never liked the integral intake manifold though. That was a long time ago...

    I think anyone who cross breeds a chevy in a ford or reverse is just an attention seeker good or bad and probably does other stuff to get attention also. I don't like those kinds of people.

    No.. I disagree.. We have a good derby motor..Chevy.. 64 down Fords make good derby cars.. Allows extreme setback over Ford engines.. With Ford motors, you end up replacing the water pump, harm balncer and dizzy too often from hitting with the front of the motor...
