FYI for you east coast junkies leaving thurs 5/30 who want company on the drive to the Lone Star state. I am leaving north Jersey between 5 & 6 AM. Google says its 13 hours to Nashville. Spending the night at the aforementioned HIE just off I-40 about 5 to 10 minutes west of the I-65 interchange. Google says its another 10 hours to get from Nashville to Arlington

You might think this is stupid Allen, but have you considered putting an access panel in the floor of the wagon so you can do that from inside the car?? Lots more convenient, and certainly safer!

Ed no disrespect intended but I chose a simpler solution - I stopped using that perticular brand of junk!

CSTMWGN also changed a fuel pump on the side of a busy Detroit highway. Did you change to Aeromotive??

Technically, the stop along the higway going into Detroit was a "comeback" as I did not properly tighten one of the fuel line fittings when I did change the pump in the rain in a 7/11 parking lot a few miles earlier. No I have not tried an Aeromotive pump as yet - I am running the small 100GPH Carter that I had been running for years before my failed upgrade to a bigger pump.

While technically I am a west coast junky (both natively and currently - although those sites are ~3,000 miles apart), I looked into joining you guys for dinner on Thursday but it is about 230 miles out of my way.
