actually, Ed has been working on a list of where some folks are staying during the tour....originally, I had planned to stay at the HI at Lookout Mountain (some folks are staying downtown); anyway, I moved to the HIE in Cleveland, TN (a little farther from Chattanooga, but cuts a few miles off of the next leg to Charlotte, and the area around the HIE/Cleveland looks real good)....so....there might be some folks going to Cleveland, I guessComment

If you are traveling with wife and kids like me ( 5 and 2yr old) I would suggest staying at some of the fun and less expensive options on the tour to make the little ones have some fun. I know there is a KOA at almost every stop and also a Jellystone Park. You can get a cabin for 100 or less a night with great accommodations and also plenty to do to tire the kids out. In Birmingham there is a hotel called the Wynfrey and it is attached to the mall. It has a small amusement park in it. Also at the Chattanooga stop there is a place called Chattanooga choo choo where you can sleep in a train car. Just some suggestions to consider.Comment
