Phil, Thanks for fulfilling dianeokie's pic request, as I cannot(mine's the second best looking vehicle in the photo)

A 98 Sport Gold, was it a V8/t-top/vert/SS? I always liked that color even though it wasn't a popular color, according to sales stats. There were a number of rare/cool color's during that time. The Hugger Orange(on an SS), Bright Blue(looked great with the sport appearance package), Bright Purple(looked great with the sport appearance package), and Sunset Orange Metallic(one of the best looking colors on a 4th gen).

I've only ever seen one firebird in that color, at the f-body reunion in 2002 in Bowling Green(over 700 f-bodies, great show).

Oh, and I took the advice about Olive Branch...

Phil is a good guy. We met him in Mobile in 2010.

We are at the Comfort Inn at Olive Branch on June 4.

No, I tend to get in trouble if I have too much HP, I had a t-top with all the options V6, and ground effects! I probably have a picture on some long ago discarded laptop................wish I still had it............without the oil leak and 2 time replaced rear.............

You talk about having too much HP like it's a bad thing.

And yea, it's got to have t-tops. The only reason my other one doesn't have them is that you couldn't order both the 5.7L TPI and t-tops on the same car. I would like to see a pic of that car. I've never seen a sport gold with the ground effects. Never heard of them having problems with the rear, only with the ignition/plug wires(too much under hood heat).

We are staying at the Quality Inn in Pelham. We stayed there in 2010 while on PT. Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday and Burger King are next door. Two story and doors open to outside.
