I have a 86-88 350 4 bolt main, Head castings are 093 and 261. The 093 are 64cc heads, cant find no info on 261, I dont know if its a factory replacement head or what. I just need to know if they're the same.

I'm coming up with
14019261 1984-88 350 1.94 1.5
Neither sound like a small chamber head, but I'd get the measuring cup out. If they are 76 cc heads, the 12 cc difference is about 3/4" ^3, should be pretty obvious.

That which you manifest is before you.
093 gives me a bad book. not listed.
a 193 is listed, same years you posted.
76cc was 1970s madness, crap for blocks went with them. Never learned otherwise. Not even good option for turbo.
even then I spotted today was 66 for turbo.
I wonder if the tip in the book could apply, there is a strong head and a weak one..doing same job. looking at certain parts of the head can determine this.
no baby cradle when you are flat out.
Would they have came on the same engine from the factory?

Well, I'm still uncertain, I have 74 509 400sbc, that I've had for years. I'm gonna check its condition tomorrow. Would 882, these heads or the original 400 heads work better.
