I could not make the trip this year.., Planning on using "my" (ha ha) Power Tour Money to take my wife on a boat cruise in the fall for out 35th Anniversary...
I could not pull both off. or convince her the Power Tour was a cruise

As for weather updates, Poynt has a great program for your smart phone that included live weather maps, as well a a bunch of other things, ie gas prices (by distance, grade & location), Restaurants , businesses, phone books too. That is how I found the Advance Auto last year when I needed a gas cap in the middle of Kentucky, turns out it was half a mile up the road from the gas station

and if you get the Google Map App you can get live traffic reports, well if they have the system installed where you are..
