Whats with all the bad news?

Is it just me or does bad news just keep popping up everywhere?
I guess its just life. But my prayers are going out to everyone who is/are in tough situations right now.
Matt-prayers going out to your family.
Victor- Prayers still going out to you and terri as you are healing up.
Bob- prayers going out to you and your father.
And then to all the people who cant make it this year, good luck and try next year.

I was there almost 2 years ago, and i know all of you were there to support me with your prayers/thoughts/and words of encouragement. I am there giving you the same support. Always look for the Positive and know that there is a plan and a reason for everything.

Evan...most the other Freaks on here are older than you it is becoming part of life for them now...I have noticed that now that i am in my 30's that more and more of my distance relatives are starting to pass. Hate to say it be we are all getting older!...

I know Matt's was unexpected and that always makes it harder than if someone has been sick, so i can only image what he is going through considering what i went though when dad was sick and it was expected.

you hit it on the head scott. as i get older, more freinds and their parents are passing. my parents are hanging in there, but i know it's just a matter of time. it really sucks, but it is a part of life. ditto on what evan says.

I remember when we lost everything in 2004 and we were hurting pretty bad as a family and we were basically homeless. One tends to ignore the fact there are always people suffering and dying in the world when things on your end are going pretty well. Life can tend to slap reality back in your face pretty hard sometimes.. A few stark realizations during this time for me was: "life goes on, you're guaranteed nothing, and bad times are certain so appreciate the good ones." I believe we're born to die and there is much waiting for me after this life(though I need to be much better ;)) so death isn't as sad to me as a life wasted.

What we consider is, after all that has happened recently,
we still have our family, great friends, and a littlet sanity left over....We're GOOD!!!!
