Another Update on Matt
First and foremost, Matt truly appreciates everyone's thoughts and prayers. For those of you that went out of your and texted him, he was speechless and didn't know what to say. Matt called me several times yesterday and right now they are working on getting the entire family together and working with a lawyer on getting all the legal issues settled.
Believe it or not, but he's still wanting to make Detroit and Muskegon, so if does, he'll probably need a big ol' group hug!!
Once again, and ya'll know who you are, thank you for texting him. In time of needs, words can't describe when friends are there for you. And I've always said it, we here at BangShift are like one big extended delusional family!!

The last text I got from Matt - he had been up for something like 40 hours straight, had a killer headache and was going to try to get some sleep.
I just shipped him the 750 double pumper demon he wants to try on the freshened up GTO engine. He's got the heads all reworked from the machine shop. I don't recall if he's got the cam, lifters, and gaskets on hand, but regardless - he's got the entire top end of the engine to re - assemble, cam break in, then who knows what other little projects on the car before it's power tour ready. We may have to tag team somehow to geterdun.There's always something new to learn.Comment
