    Carefull there, 79 Camaro...
Take advise from a bumperdragger, and you may become a bumperdragger!
    What tire is Seered on??

    Bill,
I'm on Ladder bars with cheap non adjustable shocks, and a junk front end with worn out torsion bars...I'll have over 1K in new suspension parts before this attempt, but I'm still considering going back to a bias until I have time to really test with radials.

Doc is on a M/T Drag Radial Slick, its made for Super Stocks (heavy cars) it is not a DOT tire

      The bottom one

The Bias Picture is a Pro Stock/Sump Comp tire (light cars.)

Well I think I've got the leave squared up, it's everything else that is in flux. The adjusted converter is back, tranny ready tomorrow, races EOM.

This is the best hijack I can remember in some time.

Thought it was SOP around here!!!
          Now Bill,
How do you plan to make the front tires quit looking over at each other on full extension? That looks crazy in your pics.

          Jeff,
Thanks for the clarification on Doc's slicks, the vid from Tulsa filmed behind the car looks as though he was still hitting them very hard, but those tires could take it!

it is for a fact... both informative and SOP derail. Can you guys put this into a suspension tech thread? It's great information.

After looking at it for some time while having some Corona's with friends we realized that the wheels would be straight if I added some washers on the side that was pulled in. It looks great in the garage. I'll pull it out and test it this week when the trans is done.

Yeah it leaves hard for a N/A Street Car 1.26 is getting it for 3500 lbs at this race the guy next to him came over after the run and ask "What the Hell is in that thing" Its a 555 N/A engine runs on Pump Gas around town, he said thats Crazy. We where the # 9 Qualifier for a TFX Class, tube cars, one power adder, OEM Trans. By the end of the Day we where like 15 or 16 when the Class jumping stopped.

Ok it was some washers and new control arms with a raised pivot point, slightly shortened strut rods and about 16 hours of labor and I still have 7" of wheel travel at the hit but the tires will stay at close to zero camber and no carzy toe in.

And no it wasn't just you Jeff it was everybody, especially people next to me going down track.
