Worked on installing my power grid today. While I was at it I ripped all the nitrous wiring out and redid that as well. Almost done. I'll finish up the wiring tomorrow.

    Nothing to see here.

    Lol...

ET Streets mounted today. Tranny crossmember removed from parts car, cleaned, painted and installed. ARP torque converter bolts intstalled with blue thread locker, starter installed.

Tomorrow, Drive shaft, tranny cooler, tranny linkage, radiator, headers bolted up...then Pizza and NHRA Nationals on TV.

Went to the track last night. Mine has turned into a turd. Hasn't been run much since November of last year where it ran 11.40s. I have put some quick fuel metering blocks in and messed with my street air fuel ratios. Ran a best of 12.08 last night. It's missing 6mph somewhere. I am going to go back to all stock on the carb and start over. Air fuel ratio was the same as when I ran it in November so I am not real sure what is going on. It looks and sounds much faster than 12.0s lol

doubtfully wasted... experience, and experiments. I think it was Jefferson on 99 failures out of 100? It wasn't 100 failures, it was 99 successful ways to do it wrong.

Survived the heat and the LA freeway traffic at the NMCA True Street event at Pomona Friday. Still fighting some launch tuning issues falling back to 1.6x's and high 1.5x's over the weekend due to to a stumble. I now I can datalog Fuel pressure and its a train wreck after the launch, replaced pump, re-plumbed tank to inlet, bypassed controller, rewired fuel pressure sensor an I still get a trace that looks like a magatude 6.5 earthquake falling away from the 43.5 PSI baseline.

with the NASA lectronics in some of y'alls cars, maybe check with the car stereo guys about a couple of big ass capacitors? Does your voltage go nuts at the same time?

I should get my car back wednesday or thursday in all it's painted glory. I have five days off of work starting Friday to get the new clutch and scattershield installed, then the trim and bumpers and with an oil change "should" be ready to go. I'll get my drag radial's mounted on a set of rims in that time too.

I "shouldn't" have any driving and running issues. It ran great when it left my house. I might tamper with the flat shift feature on the megasquirt. If I understand the feature right when I push the clutch pedal in it drops the rev limiter to the rpm expected for the next gear (programed in) so the gas pedal doesn't have to be lifted. Basically if the rpm's drop from 5,500 to 4,500 on the upshift, when the clutch pedal is pushed it cuts spark and/or fuel (my choice) until it sees 4,500rpm or the clutch pedal comes out then the rev limiter is back to the max I have it set at.
                            Escaped on a technicality.

Well ran the car Fri nite on a well prepped 1/8 mile track. Nos controller has a glitch off the line. Off about 2-3 ths in 60 ft. Mounted controller, went thru every wire. Everything works, except at the track. Good news engine and driveline are rock solid. Will go back this Fri nite. Good luck to all who are still trying to their cars sorted out.
