Bought it a few years back for my wife Leonora from the second owner. It had been garaged but driven badly...lots of dents, lots of bad paint, lots of mechanical issues. When I met my wife she was driving her Dad's 68 Cougar. He sold it the next year and she hasnt forgiven him. We fixed the problems and pounded out the big right hand door dent and drove it regularly for about 8K miles. Then the paint really started to look bad.

    The Cool Stuff!

302 2bbl with the 8.8 rear and C4 auto...Soon to be 331 with 6bbl EFI and a C4 auto with GVO. Will add an LSD to the rear

powerless 4 wheel drum brakes with stock soft suspension and addco sway bars. KYB replacement shocks. Will be modded with power and front disks. Will add some Boss stiffeners and new front springs

Stock steel 14" with hubcaps. Dan Gurney package hubcaps!...not sure what to do here...

It was supposed to be done for my wife's birthday last year...Its in process as we speak. Im slower than I used to be. It had 5-6 layers of lousy paint jobs on it and lots of bondo/slap hammer/devils own bodywork. NO RUST though! I mean None! Im amazed that there wasnt even rust under the vinyl top, which was orig.

original but wierd parchment vinyl with green carpets.

We drove it to the track once to see the races... soon though.
