Pulled out of a barn along with the motor. Does daily driving duty at 60miles/day

    The Cool Stuff!

Truck backed out of the barn with its 307 and th400. Belted out 187 rwhp on the dyno as it flatted its camshaft. The Palletized 89 350 we found next to the truck got cleaned up and put in with a Comp hyd roller camshaft and some ancient ported double hump heads that we found on a shelf next to the pallet. The M/T covers came from ebay. The F&B six barrel MPI system is their (our) SBC prototype running a Painless LT1 harness with MEFI managment. Small dia HEI sparks it and a set of Dougs headers dumps it through a 2.5" home made stainless exhaust. The double hump heads had some valve spring pressure issues, so a set of Dart sportsman heads now do the breathing. TH400 Trans was rebuilt by Rich and has a 2500 stall converter. We slipped a limited slip unit into the diff with the stock 3.77:1 gear set.

Stock suspension with larger camper special sway bars. Still pretty soft but it sits proud.

Stock white steelies with dog dish caps. kumo hard as nails tires for the daily commute

Repainted sometime in the 80s. Needs some rust repair in the cab. The mirrors whistle at about 70mph. The wood bed looks like old fence posts. The bed sheetmetal is immaculate.

Had old school red tuck and roll bench and door panels. The bench was too painful so now its got some aftermarket buckets and Rich has a tuck and roll garage couch

Too busy to drag it. Rich is a professional mechanic of the highest calibre but he works too much. The truck gets around 17mpg with the 3.77:1 diff
