Local car, wrecked in 1977 with 32k on the clock. My father bought it and repaired it in 1978, and used it as the family car until 1990. A brother had it until 2000, when I bought it and repaired the rust and did some drivetrain upgrades. It has a little over 250k on it now.

    The Cool Stuff!

327 with double hump heads. 700R-4. 12-bolt with 3.55's. Nothing special here, folks.

Mucho rust repair and metal replacement, done by a good friend who is a collision guy. He does some of the best work in this area. I'm not a body guy.

Everything new but the dash pad. The seats are a slightly special: no one makes cloth seat covers, but there is a place in Michigan that sells the original cloth by the yard. I got three yards and had an upholstery guy remove the centers from a set of deluxe seat covers, and sew in the cloth including the correct pattern accent lines. It is how it should be.
