    Re: 91CCFirebird's 1991 Firebird Formula

Got 300+ miles on the rearend and filled the bottle.......put it through the paces a little this weekend....next weekend I am going to the local 1/8 mile track for a show and some pro tree fun runs as my buddy challenged me to run against his stang. Traction is the main nemisis that may keep me from victory.

          Re: 91CCFirebird's 1991 Firebird Formula

The track was a blast and although traction was a problem I hooked better than the mustang. My first run was a 10.22 and I spun all the way down, the stang ran a 10.38. My second run I put some more heat in the tires and went 8.8 but still spun on the launch but hooked after I let off and got back in it. I could only run twice as I had to go to a conference in Indy that evening but it was a total blast and I cannot wait until spring to go run again when the track opens for the season. Definitely need some drag radials.

At first I was thinking the you made it 2 seconds faster just by bringing it to a higher elavation than L.A . Then I saw the 8.8 then I knew you must be running the 1/8 .

Well Santa came a little early here and brought the first load of suspension upgrades.

I bought their pan hard bar for my Impala. Best order soon because they get behind on orders in winter.

Hey glad to see you making progress. It took me 6 wks just to get mine in the garage . I'm sure you'll love what it will do for your car. I put a tubular panard bar in mine a yr ago and it was night an day difference to the stamped steel one .

Just received poly a-arm bushings, rear sway bar bushings, and front and rear end links with poly bushings. Hopefully the purse strings will gain a little more room after Uncle Sam sends a check and I can really get to acquiring parts so it will be ready for the Power Tour.
