Museums And Nascar Shops or The Tail

We could do a Museum and a couple Nascar shops maybe a backdoor tour at Childress's and some other shop. I dont think we would have time to do the Tail and visit the nascar shops on the same day. There is a museum at Maggie Valley,Wheels through Time,which is a motorcycle museum we could do the same day as the Tail.

i was thinking that we could do the tail in oct and the museums in april, that way those that are going on power tour and will do the tail then, won't do it twice so close together. it's just a thought. no big deal either way.

I thought someone said that the tail of dragon was better to do in the spring, or something along those lines. But i would much rather do the race shops in October. But im all in for any thing

Brent you are right someone in April said the GTO group has their tour in the fall and traffic is terrible. I vote for the shop & museum tours. What town would we stay in and what hotels are in the area?? Brent call me and I will work on that. 410-336-1156.

Friday:
Detroit speed and Nascar Hall of Fame (whichever order)
Saturday:
Handricks Place, RCR Museum, RCR Winery (if time allowed), and then to our house.

Maybe fit in the racetrack/dragstrip.

Whats your ideas?

That sounds like a plan to me. My wife and I are coming down on the 17th and going to Earnhardt Chevrolet and if time permits go to DEI if not go Thursday.

The 19th sounds good. We dont wanna be down there the weekend after that though, Good Guys show is going on at the track.
