it's a 10 - 11 hour drive each way for me, which would mean leaving thur, so that's gas and an extra nites hotel. it's cheaper and easier to fly. the health of my parents. it's a cost/time away thing. it's that or not coming at all.

Are you leaving Thursday after work ? Do you leave on time ? What time might that be ? I might see about leaving at 5ish & driving 3 hours (from your area) and spend the night ie. to Lexington, VA 24450

If you plan on leaving around 5pm by the time you hit I-695 you are going to hit traffic. I'm trying to talk the wife into leaving Tuesday night and driving 1/2 way down. Are we there yet?

Finally we have something rolling. Lets get some newbies in! Since the trip for us is like a total of 200 miles (max) i may drive the fiero and dad and mom will be in the Chevelle.
But what kind of hotels do you guys wanna stay in? Ill try to find something Under 100 that is worth staying in.
Dad and i are going to do a run down there soon to talk to detroit speed, Hendricks and RCR.

I know about that traffic, hopefully we can leave about 3ish... I was talking to Bernie, it is still months away and we can finalize it about a month or less out. We can talk about it on the "Afraid Tour"
