Rampages are great! Back when they came out, they hugely outclassed the Courier and the Luv. Glad to see that you are making such a cool hot rod out of it!

The eagle has landed.. a couple minor issues but all in the clear...
as normal I poured the clear to it and l have a couple of sags that
will sand out... the color looks orange if the flash is on but its really
a maroonish color... here is a few pics.... its gonna need some
wet sanding but that was expected
        EDIT
Pretty hartd to see the metallic in it but its there... will show
up in the sun light no problem

A paint booth inside a lift! Brilliant!

Shouldn't have any trouble spotting you at Drag Week
          Escaped on a technicality.

You got that right... it turned out pretty good... just needs wet sanding...
I'll pull it out tomorrow and tear down the booth... and start the reassembly
in the next few days... I dont know if I'll wait to wet sand it after its assembled
or do it before........ but its in color...... thank GOD thats done...... its not a
20K but it looks good.... should look great after sanding

LOL.... I dont think there will be many Rampages there so it shouldnt
be a problem....yeah the hoist helped out big time.. instead of having
tables or what not in there

Looks like a great project. A friend has a pro street Daytona and that turned out great too. Good luck at DW!

Thanks... I was gonna build this into a drag car years ago but
went with my Sundance instead... this needed a tube chassis
because the whole under body rotted away so I ended up building
                    it this way

Mike im finding that wet sanding the parts loose is harder than if it was bolted together it holds it from moving around.. buffing with it loose is tuff...

                          Fantastic!

I'll second the vote for assembly followed by wet sanding and buffing - hate to knock a part off it's stand while sanding or buffing and have to start all over again.

Now the painstaking "don't scratch it - tape it" assembly process.
There's always something new to learn.

I pulled it out of the booth and started pulling the paper and
got a better look at it.. over all its not my best paint job .. as
usual I get carried away with the clear and I have a few sags
in the clear but its all fixable... here are a couple of pics today
