***update to where we will enter the facility****

We will be entering off Hancock (NOT Canfield). There is a locked gate there and they will not open it until I call them. They will have someone there to greet us when the gate is unlocked.

Maybe that circle area right in the middle?
when you look at it from street view there is a gate there.

The only other area i see would be the loading dock on the far left near the power plant.

Ron would you mind checking out a place fairly close that we would meet at. Maybe a restaurant or shopping center parking lot. Our hotel is about 15 miles away and it would be difficult to keep everyone together for that distance in Detroit traffic.

Ok I looked at Google Earth, there is a church at 600E Warren Ave. It has a huge parking lot with an entrance both on Warren and Hancock. Looks like we could meet there and go straight down Hanckok for about a block as a group. It is also just off Interstate 75 so should be easy to get to. Linda if you think this will work, I will try to contact the church and get permission to use their parking lot as a staging area.

Do we have to all arrive as a group? i know some of us are driving in to Detriot that day, what happens if we are running late?

That would be perfect Ron! If you can ask them and let us know we can meet there starting at 12:30.

Scott I'm sure once we get in they may lock the gate again, but I will make sure someone is there to let people in as they arrive.
