2012 VA Home Visit

On my way upto Washington DC this week, I stopped at the VA nursing home in MartinsBurg, WV and visited with our Nations Heroes and they didn't want me to leave. I handed out over 100 of the "Veteran1" t-shirts to the Veterans

First and foremost thank you for your service! As the organizer of this event we would be honored to have you and the tribute Camaro join us. One question, would you be able to drive the car from your hotel? Space is limited at the VA, so we wouldn't have room for the truck and trailer. Also if you have any t-shirts to hand out, that would be awesome. Looking forward to getting my 2nd up close look at that beautiful car! Thanks!

Yes to your request; as the tribute truck will NOT be on the HRPT! My employees are actually at the Ann Abor VAMC now installing video surveillance cameras and will be picking up truck/trailer on the 30th

Just FYI: We have been raising funds for The ADASDF (www.adasdf.com) for the last two years and recently donated the car to them to raise much needed funds to continue to provide free working service dogs to our nations Veterans and the car is being raffled off and winner drawn June 16th at Ft Bragg ( NC ) at the Wounded Warrior Project fundraiser "Camaros for Heroes 2"

Went to the VA today, it's huge. Scoped out our spot...while the cars won't be covered there will be places for the veterans and us to stay out of the rain if it comes. Found the church where staging will be, think they have a back driveway to go out. Safe travels to all those on the road, see you all soon!
