Another year, the same time problems, LOL.

Have the car back on stands and looking things over. Last summer was hard on the car with several runs that over-boosted before solving the issue. The last few runs while better in speed showed the next problem in some horrible vibrations that I think was the driveshaft starting to jump rope. Making changes so the driveshaft is much shorter and larger diameter.

Hope to switch it to EFI over this winter. Have some fabricobbing to do under here

The engine is apart. The poor tune up and overboost issues walked the caps hard enough to loosen them in the registers. Block is getting checked out now. A few cam lobes look strange to me also. Lifters look like new?

Once again, April seems so close already. These issues along with a list of items to change to suit the rule book will make for a busy winter.

    See you soon.

What were the over-boosting issues you had? Boost controller or wastegate issues? I can't wait to see that thing flying down the track again.

I forget, how big is the turbine housing and compressor for that matter?
    How big is the gate?
Did you figure out what was vibrating so bad?

Missed you questions Mike, sorry. Turbine is a 1.32, 106mm compressor, 66mm gate. Pretty sure vibration was the driveshaft nearing critical speed and flexing.

The bucket is back together and starts
