Hi guys and girls,
I don't know how many of you know about our little trip, because I usually just post up details in the "Events" section of the forum and I don't know how many of you ever leave the HRPT threads, but with this year being our 5th anniversary I'm posting up in here for more visibility. In the events section it is always one of the threads with the most views, so I'm sure it should attract a lot of attention and interest in here.
The trip is always attended by many HRPT veterans and Bangshifters. Some of this year's highlights are Lake George, NY, a nice cruise down Route 6 into the Poconos and a paced lap on Thunder Road at Watkins Glen. The trip is always the first weekend in October and we try to make at least one interesting stop each day, while keeping to nice scenic roads as much as possible (approx 200 miles each day), so we don't have to hammer down just to try to make it to the next stop. It's more about the actual drive than the destination.
Throughout the year, most of the trip details are posted up on our own website/forum but I do try to put small updates on here and the Northeast Rod Run Facebook page also. Facebook has plenty of pictures from past trips.
If it sounds like something you might be into, check out these links here. Much more info to follow in the next couple of months
