17 degrees here this morning - I shoveled about 6" out of the driveway here yesterday kicking myself for not bringing the snow blower home from the shop.

Yesterday afternoon I tore into the front end of the truck - ball joints on trucks with 200k on them flat out suck - I got the knuckle off and will take it and the axle shaft in to a shop that can press the old joints off and new joints in - the rear bearing of the hub is shot, the 4x4 hub lock needed cleaning and grease, and both axle shaft grease seals were shot - thankfully the driver side wasn't as bad - I need to get the seals replaced on both sides so the auto 4x4 hubs will work right. My back hurts!

Good luck with the plow Greg - too bad you're so far away - I'd hire ya to plow here! ;-)

went to change the tires on the brown T/A. they have these special wheel lugs that need a special lug wrench.
finally found a tool at sears. basically like those sockets for rounded nuts. it was expensive and it tore up the lugs, but who cares. it's not like i'll use the lugs ever again. they are now on the metal pile.

A friend of mine did the same thing he put 20 lock lugs on his car and then lost the key and then he brings it to me to get them off. I told him he had more in the lock lugs than he had in the wheels and tires.

Had to go to work today I got an emergency call that one of my customers air compressors was down and I had to get it back up. Then I plowed the snow at the shop while I was there so not much got done on projects.

About to head to the shop and get started on something I have taken on more projects. The one thing I said I was'nt going to do this year I'm a sucker for a sob story.
