I like how the Cobra still has the side exit headers, but with the mufflers removed. Makes me wonder if he drove it there or on the street.

Pretty sure back then you were required to at have the full exhaust on the car, even though you didn't use it. Or something to that effect.Originally posted by Scott Liggett View PostI like how the Cobra still has the side exit headers, but with the mufflers removed. Keep your foot in it and it comes down just fine!Originally posted by milner351 View PostJoe - that's a great shot - she's really hanging the hoops! I sure hope the landings are controlled enough to not break any parts!Comment

I took this shot of Denshem on fire standing on the berm past the lights at OCIR. Hot Rod mag also posted a series of pictures (I have more also) but they were able to get closer to the track than I was.
A side note to this, as Gary went by burning there were dozens of other people next to me, all taking pictures too. But when the car erupted into flames they all just watched, I have a picture with many just standing there.
Glad Gary was okay after this barn burner.Last edited by Dynoroom; September 26, 2013, 04:19 PM.There are very few people in this world who's opinion I value, you are not one of them.
