I titled this picture "Rat's Nest" we're installing a new "PAINLESS" switch panel and a "MSD" 7AL-3 ignition box in the Purple I Hot Rod then all that I'll need is to get the engine back!

HAHA! Me too! You know what it is,when I was a kid there was a creepy dude around that drove a red one and he actually got in trouble for something to do with a kid years later,I always associate that car with that guy. Bothers me. What can ya do?

So Purple 1 will be on DW this year? LOL

Nope, the Purple I car would get severley beat up on in any of the DW classes that it would fit into, those classes are way too fast plus it will only tech to 8.5. If I were going to take a car it would have to be the big block tube car Purple II, believe it or not even after owning it for 7 years that car is still relatively untested and it's been ran with a mild tune but that's going to change this Summer and we'll see where that goes?

Heres my friends 57 sedan delivery in the 60's

I don't recognize the car but I ran in the same class and held the records for a while. That was probably the late 60's because that's when NHRA let the Sedan Deliverys run the 4 speed Hydros which never came in anything smaller then a half ton truck but with enough whinning and kissing they were allowed, that gave them the advantage until Marv Ripes (A1 Automatic) built the Equalizer Converter which leveled the playing field, here below are pictures of my old ride.
