    what brand / model were your's Stiney? I've seen a few on Amazon - I think 900mhz for $35ish

It won't be too hard to get a clear line of site, Lee's room is on the barn side of the house.

Oh, crap.....I don't know. I believe one was Fisher-Price, and the other Baby One First Something or Other (or something like that)

One is still hanging on the wall in the barn, I still fire it up every once in a while when I want to hear whats up in the house. Keeps the kids on their toes too, they still can't figure out how dad knows certain stuff. I'll check tonight.

You are golden on logistics! Can't get much better than that to start with!

He posted on FB about how much he loves to hang pictures. Thought he might like some tips.

I appreciate that immensely James - are you volunteering to fly in to help?

Good Lord - who knew these old mirrors could be so danged heavy - I'd rather melt the silver off the back of them and sell it to buy hotrod parts.

We did get a car parked in the garage - that's progress....and I got at least 6 - 5 gallon bucket fulls of crap out of the gutters last weekend.

I have reinforcements coming to help with the falcon, then it will move to the new place for "final" assembly.

when I did my 6-8 swap, I just threw in a 70 cougar master cyl., but I,ve got 67 'stang drums all around. Swerves to a stop like a dream. No prop valve

Thanks Gearhed - I have a manual brake master for a granada front disc / rear drum - I'm going to start with that and see how it works.

4 wheel drums make stopping an adventure - our '54 still has that OEM set up - don't hit the brakes without both hands on the wheel!

I must be the odd guy......I've put lots of miles on several different vehicles with all drum brakes, and they all functioned fine.

Honestly, in my experience a drum setup in good working order (good shoes, proper diameter drum, hardware/springs in good condition) works as well as the factory disc setups I've also put lots of miles on.

(Its a given that brake fade is more of an issue with drums, but that aside.)

Mine have always stopped straight with no pulling....

Same here Stiney. I haven't had an issue with pulling as long as the brakes were adjusted properly.

Yea - I've had drum brakes that worked fine too - but they take more adjusting more often than discs.
The '54 brakes were fine the first summer - i just haven't taken the time to pull them apart and fine tune them again.

Did they have automatic adjusters on those '54 drums? The ones I dealt with were all later by a decade or more......and had functional automatic adjusters.

                                I honestly don't remember.
I do have a "drum mic" so i will get them adjusted one of these days - I suppose I should change the oil in the old stove bolt too.
