62 Falcon - $5k challenge, how will it rise from the ranger's ashes?

Here's the smaller of the two tachs I picked up at columbus.
Left side of column has tilt and turn signal lever, right side has hazard switch, turn signal indicators are below speedo...
Trying for a sort of rallye-pack feel, the shift light will probably end up on the column too - I really like the uncluttered dash - I want to stay away from mounting the tach up there.

I like mine on the left of the wheel , being right handed my arm gets in the way when steering

I feel like a woman in a shoe store - LOL ---- how about this - I like the white face better with the rest of the white faces, and - it's larger and more visible - back to the idea of a base of the A pillar mount.... decisions decisions.

19 gallon RCI fuel cell has been acquired - bye bye stock fuel tank. Now if I could just carve out some time to actually wok on the car!

I have mine mounted on the collum to the right, to the left blocks the lower speedo range, in the center blocks the mid range so on the right it covers the 80 - 140 range...I dont think I will be doing those speeds anytimes soon so...to the right it is. As for finding time...well...who needs sleep? midnight to 6 am...wife adn kids should eb asleep...get to it!

Yup - I'm a wimp I guess - I don't want to spend the money and time to run DW this year - too far away - too much money - and - I don't want to be a part of the street outlaws drama fest.
I really hope this is not the end of DW as it once was. (and I only went once for the full week )

its probably better that way anyways, at least you don't have to worry about the mad dash and you can enjoy your ride instead of worrying about breaking down in BFE

Well you still have your local track that you can go out and play on. Are you going to do any of the Power Tour this year?

Greg - I do plan on going to the meltdown drags in Byron IL mid July, and I'd like to hit at least one of the "true street" events at Milan just to see what that's all about.

I'm not sure yet about power tour - work is nuts and getting nuttier, hopefully that will let up soon and I can get back do doing more than thinking about working on the car, which reminds me - I have a few more parts to buy.
