When are they usually announce dates? I know last year was late because they were waiting until Amarillo was confirmed.

Normally race tracks do not commit to DW until they have there regular schedule for the year figured out.

But what do 99% of drag strips do Monday through Friday in the morning to the middle of the day? Maybe the Monday/Friday track but the others

I can well understand keeping the car a 302, and it's very cool. If I can think of a person that would have the slugs you are looking for I will get the word out. If you built a 383 almost no one could tell it from a 302 in the car.

Hey gang , thanks for the info. I had the 302 apart after drag week and when I put it back together I got the cam button in wrong and screwd up 2 pistons. I need the 2 pistons so I won't have to buy a set. I am planning on bringing the 66 Nova with an LS on Drag Week 2012.

Walt I'm agreeing with the guys earlier, put the 302 back together and set it off to the side and put a 383 Stroker in that gorgeous little car, nobody will know the difference and we're all sworn to secrecy and we won't tell anybody!
