Put in HID headlights.

Future plans:

Take out HID headlights. They don't get hot enough to melt any snow of them, so they pretty much suck. Not to mention they interfere with the satellite radio.

The Van is getting parked!!!! I got a job in the Dominican Republic for the winter! Not sure if I will make any more money but I will sure be warmer.

If your struggling for work (or want to make more money) and a mechanic (especially with CAT experience), welder, industrial electrician, etc.. you should look in the Fort McMurray region. They seem to have relaxed the work visa laws to get people up there.

Not sure if theft is a big deal down there but I generally travel light?

Since your in the mining industry can you give me any details on an autoclave?

I was only in the Dominican Republic for part of a day on a Cruise I went on, but I got the feeling off the main streets that tourist could get rolled for their wallets.

I don't know much about autoclaves other than they burn sulfides to oxidize them. I think they are primarily used in gold to liberate the gold from pyrite and other sulfides. They have to hit some initial high temperature before the sulfides become a self sustaining burn as the fuel. That's about all I know about them, we don't use them in our operation.

Thanks for the info Randal. Its a gold mine that we are going to and we are doing something with a Autoclave. details are sketchy as always with international work. You might have a point with the theft, I know the company has said we can't travel after work. I wrote it off as paranoia, they seem pretty green at this type of work.
