SGM yes it was and the home of Jim and Ruth Tice.That is where AHRA got there start.The NHRA Div 5 DIRECTOR is one of the owners IIRC.Used to be home to the AHRA SummerNationals.First National event I ever saw back in 1972 as a 12 year old punk.LOL.This gives you an idea of how hell bent they were to get the track closed.

DUDE! Chill out. We're all sad that the city is bowing to political pressure on the track. I just observed that the first thread was easy to miss because the title didn't say ANYTHING about KCIR or track closing. Constructive criticism. Sorry you're offended.
